John holds a Bachelor of Arts Honours in Political Science and Economics from UWO. He was an Investment Advisor at leading Toronto firms where he advised clients on investment strategies, products, employed currency-hedging strategies, using foreign exchanges to mitigate currency risk in portfolios. He co-managed a $200 million dollar book by successfully evaluating investment opportunities for clients. He was a Cage Administrator to a leading Toronto firm where he supported Branch Management, Investment Advisors and Associate Investment Advisors in administrative functions. John was a Junior economist at the International Food and Agricultural Trade Policy Council (Affiliate of the World Bank) in Washington where he designed and maintained econometric models to perform time series analysis to support Global Food. He led a presentation on global trade with over 200 attendees and orchestrated and prepared Agricultural Trade Seminars presented by senior management in New Delhi, India; Johannesburg, South Africa and Washington DC, USA to market trade policy advisory services. John was a Budget Analyst Assistant to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) in London where he researched Commercial Fraud. He Co-hosted a television documentary that promoted internships in Washington, DC and was a volunteer with the Heart and Stroke Foundation in London Ontario.
